Sales Representative/Broker – Nanton Nutraceuticals

Locations: Halifax, Montreal, London and Ottawa.

Our company is small with big ambitions.  Nanton Nutraceuticals provides high quality nutraceuticals and supplements through multiple distribution channels.  With a vision for growth, we are looking for our next sales superstar to help drive our brand with retailers in the Canadian marketplace.  The successful candidate will join a high performing sales team across Canada to promote product sales through effective interaction with existing retailers, gain new retailer relationships, and increase overall awareness and use of the company’s products.

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build territory plan, schedules and timetables to achieve & exceed monthly sales targets
  • Plan and implement territory & call plan
  • Build effective business relationships with existing customers in assigned territory
  • Prospect for new customers (new retailers)
  • Develop strategies to grow existing business & increase sales
  • Distribute samples to retailers and their employees to drive sales
  • Take sales orders from customers
  • Leverage internal expertise and set webinar training sessions with customers
  • Submit monthly reports of all contacts and meetings
  • Attend monthly virtual sales meeting
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with head office

Requirements & Experience

  • Understanding of the Natural Health Products industry considered an asset
  • Exhibit a passion for the health & wellness industry
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Self starter who can work independently and produce results
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle to visit stores and execute business in large territory
  • Reps who carry multiple brands may do so if no conflict of interest exists

The successful candidate will inherit a book of business and will be tasked with growing it, as well as expanding our retail distribution.  This is a generous 100% commission role with accelerators for over performance.  A monthly allowance will be provided to cover expenses incurred to drive sales in the territory.
