It all started in 2010 in Nanton, Alberta. We were intrigued by the amazing health benefits of Rhodiola rosea. Rhodiola rosea also known as arctic root, is typically grown in the wild. By cultivating the plant, we could control factors such as seed selection, growth and extraction. After ten years of research and development, Rhoziva™ was born.
We adhere to and surpasses all Canadian quality control testing standards and protocols to bring you the most potent Rhodiola rosea.
We currently have five Rhoziva products that all contain Rhodiola rosea along with other supportive herbs, vitamins and micronutrients. Our Rhodiola rosea contains seven naturally occurring compounds in the root while other brands contain only one or two.

Nanton Nutraceuticals has an extensive research and development program in place, focused on identifying superior Rhodiola rosea plants, and better understanding the synergistic effects between the psycho-active compounds and how they act in the body.
We are currently growing and testing more than 14 different varieties of Rhodiola rosea to better understand the production of important compounds, and to identify potential foundation plants for our growing operations.
This is not as easy as it may at first appear. There are large variances not only between Rhodiola rosea varieties, but between seedlings from the same mother plant.
To investigate these differences, Nanton Nutraceuticals is working with internationally recognized experts from The Alberta Research Council, University of Alberta, University of Montreal and the Government of Alberta Department of Agriculture.
